Xianxi Clams Barrack
凍結時光的蛤蜊兵營。
民國50年代
，捍衛彰化海岸線區域的百人部隊進駐線西，隨著海岸線外延，監視海防功能消失，留守兵員老化，經國軍輔導退役人員經營蛤蜊養殖，而得「蛤蜊兵營」之名。
之後駐守人員凋零、遷出，留下見證歷史的十一棟斑駁營舍，成為攝影愛好者口耳相傳的獨特景點，現今有三棟完成整修，入口處有蛤蜊殼裝飾的「毋忘在莒」精神標語，突顯此處漁鄉生活融合軍事背景的特殊風貌，因此2008年登錄為「彰化縣文化景觀」，永久保存。

Time frozen in Xianxi Clams Barrack.
The hundred army team stationed at Xianxi to protect the coastline area of Changhua in 60’s. The army no need to watch over the coastline anymore along with the extension of coastline. Besides, they start to get older. With this, they started the clams farming and named Clams Barrack.
Some of the stationed army passed away or moved out after years. They left behind the eleven historical military camps which witnessed the history. Now, three of them had finish renovated and become a famous and special shooting venue for photographers. There is a slogan “Wu Wang Zai Ju” decorated with clam shells at the entrance which means do not forget national humiliation in the time of peace and security.
Xianxi Clams Barrack had listed as Changhua Cultural Landscape on 2008 years as a symbolic place shows the mixture of fishing village with military background.
