走進昭和老房子的二手書店，選上一本舊書閱讀加上一盤黑膠唱片的古老歌聲，或是想到清朝老屋改建房子裡喝杯相濃的咖啡，
也可以散步日式宿舍，逛逛老房子的展場，手上拿著口味獨特的散步甜點，這不是村上春樹書裡的世界，而是鹿港的另一種生活方式。

Step into the vintage book store of Showa period house, read an old book along with the vintage singing from a vinyl record. Otherwise, drink a cup of coffee in a Qing Dynasty reconstructed old house. You can go for a walk at Japanese style hostel or exhibition in old houses with a special flavour dessert in hand too. This is not the world described in Haruki Murakami’s book, but a real lifestyle at Lukang.























1.為老房子而開的書店-書集囍室
An Old House and The Book Store – Shu Ji Xi Shi

「在鹿港這個地方，老房子應該是什麼樣的存在呢？」-黃志宏

25歲離鄉背井一直到49歲才回到鹿港，而老房子也是他回到鹿港的理由，花了一段時間選定了杉行街裡原本稱為「東洋行」的昭和老房子，於是接下來的半生將與老房子共同存在。

老房子原本狀況就不好，經過了一年的整修之後終於讓老房子重新活起來，原本黃老闆只是要當作自己居住使用，但總覺得可惜，於是改成獨立書店，前面為書架區，後面則閱讀區，經過一年多的實驗之後，這種老房子開始有了在鹿港新的存在方式。

休假時黃老闆在店內關起門書寫，開門時就跟來往的遊客與附近的居民閒聊，居民也會不定期的將老書送給老闆做整理，每週三則為附近小朋友念故事。

如果以商業利益來看，這家書店並不善經營，但若以存在的意義來看，鹿港已經不能沒有它。

What should be the role of old houses at Lukang? – Huang Zhi Hong

Old house is the reason for him to return to Lukang at 49 years old after his left since 25 years old. He took time to get the Showa period old house in the name of “Dong Yang Hang” in Shan Xing Street and decided to stay together with it from now on.

The old house is in bad condition at first but relive after a year of renovation. Mr. Huang feels that it is a waste for the old house to only use as residential. Therefore, the old house had changed into an independent book store with bookshelf area at the front and reading area at the back. After a year of testing period, the old house started to play a new role in Lukang.
Mr. Huang loves to write book in his book store during the shop general holiday while go for chit chat with the resident nearby and travellers during operating hours. Sometimes, people will also send him old books for sorting. Every Wednesday is the time for him to do storytelling with the children nearby.
Lukang cannot live without Shu Ji Xi Shi no matter how poor is the management for this old book store.

2.沒有唱片的唱片行-萊兒費可唱片
Records Store with No Record - Liar Fake Records & Tapes

一間看起來空空蕩蕩的老房子裡，一邊放了一堆舊音響，另一邊則是一張一張的唱片封面一個櫃臺以及在用電腦的老闆。
你如果問起老闆要賣什麼？老闆也無法回答你，請你自己好好的看看。
雖然名稱是唱片行，但老闆John卻是從設計與攝影開始的，過去曾有惡搞場片封面的設計經驗開始，並長期投入攝影工作，甚至還跑了一趟美國唸書，最後則選擇回到自己熟悉的故鄉，找了一間老房子，重新思索未來。
這裡是可能是展場、可能是賣店、可能滿滿都是人，也可能什麼都沒有，開店是個演化過程，未來將會不斷的用不同的方式出現。

An old house looks so empty with only some audio equipment, some disc front covers, a counter and the shop owner who is playing computer.
You can’t get an answer from the boss about what is he selling if you have a question on this, but you need to explore it by yourself.
The boss, John, started on from design, photography and also works as a photographer. He made jokes on the records cover design before and even studied at America at the past. He chooses to come back to his hometown at the end. He gets himself an old house here and started to think about his future all over again. This store can be an exhibition venue or a shop, crowded or empty. Running the records store only one part in the evolution and it might change at the future.

3.清朝老屋內的咖啡館-孩提咖啡
A Coffee Shop In a Qing Dynasty Old House – Hai-Ti Coffee Shop

來到丁家大宅門口，可能會一下子認不太出來。就在入口的旁邊，原本應該也是古老古錯得門面，現在卻是一家咖啡館。
咖啡館原本並不在這裡，在經營了一段時間之後，遇見了丁家這邊的空間大為喜愛，決定將咖啡館遷移到現在的位置。
咖啡館內雖然有一邊是製作的吧台，但整體的格局都還是原本古宅的樣貌，只是店內多了非常濃厚的咖啡香，這裡的後門其實就可以連結到丁家的大宅的中庭，夏天的晚上有時候咖啡館還會在這裡辦活動喔。

You maybe cannot be able to recognize the Ding’s house by the first sight. It should be an old door beside the entrance, but now it is a coffee shop.
This is not the first location for the coffee shop but only moved here after some time when the owner found and falls in love with the space in Ding’s house afterward.
The building still in its original look although there is a bar constructed after the shop moved in. Also, it filled with fragrant of coffee now. The back door is connected to the Ding’s house middle hall. The coffee shop will choose to do some activities here in the summer night as well.

4.日式宿舍群裡的藝術家-桂花巷藝術村
Artists In The Japanese Style Dormitory – Guihua(Osmanthus) Alley Artists’ Village

有一區日式宿舍群，就位於鹿港老街的旁邊，這裡沒有豐富的賣店，到了假日也不會特別擁擠，但這裡就像是鹿港的萬花筒，由藝術家在裡面爆出不同的想像。
這裡是由八間日式宿舍經過修復而成的聚落，每一年由不同的文化與藝術團體進駐，在這裡透過各種不同的文化呈現方式，讓鹿港的居民以及來訪的民眾參與各種不同的活動。
初期大部分都是藝術家，而近期更有許多文化團體的進駐，帶動更多動態性的活動，比如音樂會、野餐以及連結鹿港各地的文化活動。

There is an area of Japanese style dormitory beside Lukang Old Street without abundant shop or crowded people during holiday, but here is a kaleidoscope for Lukang which shows different imaginations.
There are eight reconstructed Japanese style dormitory with various artists stationed here every year. It allows Lukang’s residence and people who visit here to join different kind of activities through variety ways.This had brought here more variety of activities such as music concert, picnic and other cultural activities to connect all the places at Lukang.

5.風格散步甜食-kenny Lab 食驗所
Walk In Stylish Dessert – Kenny Lab

用廢棄多時的轉角老屋，空間僅僅比車庫大一點，經過幾位年輕人的巧手打造，現在則是鹿港的日式風格冰淇淋小屋，在古老的鹿港中突圍而出。
也許會有人說違和感，但對照著歷史，鹿港現有的多數街屋立面也都是日本時代所重建的，那麼這個時代性底下會有其他的日式風格產物，也是非常切題的。
開店一年多的時間，食驗所的名字在推動著不斷的推出新口味的冰淇淋，到現在至少已經有一百多種，也讓這裡的冰淇淋開始變成鹿港散步的另一種風情。

The eye-catching Japanese style ice-cream shop at Lukang had renovated from an abandoned old house at corner which only a little bigger than garage by a few young people.

Some of the people feel the shop is incompatible with the look of the old town. However, after undergone reconstructed, most of the houses at Lukang were not in its original look as the way it built in Japanese era. Therefore, it is great to have other modern Japanese style building in accordance with the different timeframe.

Kenny Café non-stop releasing new flavour of ice-cream all along the time starts since the shop opening one year ago. There are at least one hundred types of flavour now and turned the ice-cream here another culture at Lukang.
